This story really resonates for me, thank you for sharing it. I remember having a similarly profound experience as I pushed through the realization that maybe, just maybe, I wasn't 'just a crossdresser' after all. Allowing myself permission to own my transgender identity was profound!

Interestingly, it was quite a bit longer before I felt like I could call myself a woman. But that is another story...
