Thank you so much for this article. As a trans person that has no intention to ‘pass’, I find so much joy and beauty for myself outside of that pass/no-pass rubric, and while I never expected it, it’s been in that ambiguity that I’ve been able to fall back in love with myself. It’s not in ‘becoming the woman I was born as’ that I’ve found my power…. My power has been in becoming the trans person that I was born as.
