Somehow, ‘clapping’ seems like the wrong response to this, but it’s the tool I have. This is really powerful. I remember how disappointed I was, years ago, when Jian Ghomeshi’s exploits were becoming visible under the light of day. It was a powerful lesson for me on the ways in which people’s private behaviors can vary wildly from their personal brand. And by proxy, a powerful reminder that NOT being a predator runs counter to the ways that white men are acculturated in our society.
