Although I hate to use language that insinuates that being trans is a choice, I really felt like it was decision I deliberated painstakingly over before choosing the option to go ahead. Yes, being male is what will bring me the peace I’ve been looking so desperately for.
I didn’t identify with being male, but I transitioned anyway
